Citrus Park

The unincorporated community of Citrus Park is located in northwestern Hillsborough County, FL, about 15 miles northwest of downtown Tampa. About 25,000 people live in this community, across a land area of just over 10 square miles.

State Road 589, locally known as Veterans Expressway, crosses through Citrus Park from north to south, serving as a major thoroughfare into and out of Tampa. Westfield Citrus Park is a major shopping center that opened in 1999. Another local attraction in Citrus Park is Big Cat Rescue, a sanctuary for large cats that’s open to the public.
