Tampa

Tampa is a major city along Florida’s west coast, as well as the seat of Hillsborough County. As the largest city in the Tampa Bay Area, Tampa covers 113 square miles of land with an estimated population of about 380,000 people.

The city of Tampa experienced major population growth in the 1950s and 1960s that has not been seen since. This brought major expansion of highways and bridges, ushering thousands of people into the area and creating great opportunities for Tampa business owners. Two of Tampa’s most popular tourist attractions were created during this time— Busch Gardens and Lowry Park. In 2015, Money Magazine rated Tampa the best big city in the South-eastern U.S in which to live.
