Town ‘n’ Country

The CDP of Town ‘n’ Country is located in western Hillsborough County, FL, about 12 miles northwest of downtown Tampa. Close to 80,000 people live in this community, across a land area of about 22 square miles.



Town ‘n’ Country began in 1956 as a dairy farm, remaining rural until suburbanization took over by the 1970s. The smaller communities of Bay Crest Park, Countryway, Rocky Creek and Sweetwater Creek are all located within Town ‘n’ Country. The northwest portion of Tampa International Airport is located within the CDP’s borders as well.
